Project Accountant

A mid-sized general contractor based in Los Angeles, focused on commercial and multi-family projects. They’re seeking a Project Accountant to support job site financials and project billing. The role offers strong visibility with PMs and field teams, and includes local travel.

Responsibilities:
• Manage job cost tracking and project budget reports
• Prepare and submit owner billings (AIA format, SOVs)
• Process subcontractor invoices and track lien waivers
• Support project setup, change orders, and closeout
• Collaborate with field teams across job sites in L.A.

Requirements:
• 3–5 years of construction or project accounting experience
• Familiar with AIA billing, job costing, and lien releases
• Strong Excel skills; Sage 300 or CMiC a plus
• Comfortable traveling to job sites across Los Angeles
