We are looking for a General Accountant to take ownership of a variety of financial accounting and reporting responsibilities. Reporting to our Financial Controller, this position is based in our Oak Brook, IL office.

Primary responsibilities:

· Ownership of many of our financial closing tasks including:

o Record and reconcile revenue

o Record bank transactions and reconcile bank accounts

o Record credit card transactions

o Record payroll and related tax entries

o Analyze and reconcile Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts

· Produce Elements of the Financial Reporting Package for the Group and the Clinics

· Prepare and file Sales Tax Returns

· Assist in identifying and executing process improvements to further strengthen the administrative foundation for growth

· Manage and Process Payroll for our Emergency Group

· Ability to serve as a backup for other team members as needed

Position Requirements:

· Self-motivated, detail-oriented professional committed to delivering value

· Strong communication skills – oral and written, in person and virtual

· Ability to solve problems with a proactive approach

· Proficiency with Excel (Data Cleanup and Validation, Sorting, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)

· Bachelor’s degree and solid knowledge of accounting

· 2+ years of accounting experience
