We continue to courageously forge new paths as we move toward a common goal of elevating science and service for rare patients.Position Summary:The Senior Manager, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely preparation and filing of SEC Reporting, technical accounting research, Sarbanes-Oxley ("SOX") compliance support and special projects.Responsibilities:Preparation of SEC financial reporting documents (including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, Proxy) ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and deadlines.Prepare or review supporting information used to compile financial statements, notes, and MD&A. Prepare disclosure checklists and tie-out documentation related to SEC filings.Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit and quarterly reviews.Lead technical accounting research and prepare accounting memos on complex transactions, including research and documentation associated with assorted topics such as revenue recognition, debt and equity financings, share-based compensation, business combinations, licensing transactions.Contributes to the accounting close and reporting process. Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations as they relate to guidance implementation and other areas assigned, as appropriate.Participate in the SOX compliance program, including coordinating internal controls documentation, testing, and remediation efforts.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support special projects and initiatives as needed.Provide guidance and training to finance and accounting teams on SEC reporting and SOX compliance matters.Education/Experience Requirements:Bachelor's degree in accounting or relevant discipline; CPA and Big 4 experience strongly preferred. Equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience may be considered.Minimum of 7+ years relevant experience with the preparation of SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, Proxy, 8-K) and technical accounting research in a financial reporting role for a publicly traded company, Biotech or Pharmaceutical industry preferred.Thorough understanding of SEC Reporting and US GAAP, ability to independently research, apply and document results effectively.Experience in developing technical memos to support accounting considerations and conclusions reached.Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills.Ability to meet monthly and quarterly reporting deadlines.Experience with SEC reporting software (e.g., Workiva) and ERP systems.Additional Skills/Experience/Requirements:The ideal candidate will embody Travere's core values: Courage, Community Spirit, Patient Focus and Teamwork.Demonstrated knowledge of ERP systems and knowledge reporting tools to extract data effectively.
