We're looking for a US International Senior Tax Analyst to lead compliance work across Subpart F, GILTI, FTCs, and Form 5471 reporting. This is a great opportunity to deepen your technical skills and collaborate with a global team in a fast paced, supportive environment!Aon is in the business of better decisionsAt Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive team and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.What the day will look likePrepare tax returns including Forms 5471, 8858, 8865 and 1118.Prepare workpapers and calculations of foreign source income, foreign tax credit, E&P, Subpart F, GILTI inclusions, dividend distributions and other relevant computations.Collaborate with business units and various corporate departments to gather information and understand the impact of such information on reporting on tax returns and tax costs.Monitor, analyze and communicate relevant changes if US and International tax regulationsAssist quarterly with international tax provision.Manage multiple projects and communicate results to supervisor and teamIdentify opportunities for innovation and share ideas for transformation that will drive value in the tax organizationPerform tax technical research and write memos.Assist with IRS audits including drafting responses and providing relevant supporting information.Participate in tax planning projects and organize documentation of completed transactions.Skills and experience that will lead to successBS in Finance or Accounting required3+ years of full-time experience in US International tax concepts including Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, BEAT, foreign tax credit calculations and international reporting and complianceEffective writing and interpersonal skills; and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team environmentDemonstrated leadership, problem solving, robust analytical skills, innovative thinking and strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to supervise staffTeam player and contribute knowledge as well as ask for helpCreates a learning environment, open to suggestions and experimentation for improvement2+ years of data analytic experience to include desktop automation and data visualization tools (i.e., Alteryx, Power BI)Experience with direct tax systems, Corptax a plusCPA is a plusHybrid (Chicago) or RemoteHow we support our colleaguesIn addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage an inclusive workforce.
