Tax Manager Location: Cincinnati, OH Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 annually (DOE) Job Type: Full-time About the Role We are working with a well-established and growing public accounting firm in the Greater Cincinnati area that is seeking an experienced Tax Manager . This is a leadership-level position offering the chance to manage your own client portfolio, lead tax engagements, and mentor junior staff while contributing to a collaborative, client-focused culture. Key Responsibilities Manage and review individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary tax returns Provide proactive tax planning and consulting to clients Lead tax engagements from start to finish, ensuring compliance with tax laws Independently manage a portfolio of clients, delivering excellent service Supervise, mentor, and train junior staff members Research complex tax issues and present practical solutions Maintain and strengthen client relationships Requirements CPA or EA license required (active, in good standing) 5+ years of progressive tax experience (public accounting preferred) Strong knowledge of federal and state tax codes, compliance, and planning Ability to manage a book of clients independently Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in tax preparation and research software (Drake, CCH, ProSystem, UltraTax, or similar) Benefits & Compensation Competitive salary: $120K - $150K DOE Comprehensive benefits package Supportive and growth-focused environment Contact Eric Reuer at ... or submit resume to ... for additional information and consideration.
