Bookkeeper Cattle & Agricultural Operations My client is looking for a Bookkeeper who enjoys being at the center of a growing cattle business. This is more than a basic bookkeeping role. You'll help keep the financial side of a cattle operation running smoothly by managing day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining accurate records, and providing the financial information leadership relies on to make decisions. What You'll Do Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable Reconcile bank and credit card accounts Process invoices, payments, and financial transactions Maintain accurate accounting records and general ledger entries Assist with payroll processing and related reporting Track expenses, inventory-related transactions, and operational costs Prepare financial reports and support month-end close activities Assist with budgeting, cash flow tracking, and financial analysis Maintain organized records and ensure financial accuracy across the operation What We're Looking For 3+ years of bookkeeping, accounting, or related financial experience QuickBooks experience preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial reporting Agricultural, cattle, farming, trucking, construction, manufacturing, or inventory-based business experience is a plus Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred but not required Why This Opportunity Stands Out This role offers the chance to become a key contributor within a growing agricultural operation where your work directly impacts day-to-day business decisions.
