Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll Administration
Process bi-weekly/weekly payroll for employees accurately and on time
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
Maintain and update employee payroll records (wages, deductions, taxes, benefits, etc.)
Audit payroll data to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies
Manage payroll tax filings, garnishments, and other deductions
Coordinate with HR regarding new hires, terminations, and compensation changes
Generate payroll reports for finance and leadership teams
Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and timekeeping
Administrative Responsibilities
Provide general administrative support including scheduling, correspondence, and documentation
Maintain employee files and ensure proper recordkeeping in accordance with company policies
Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes
Coordinate office operations such as supplies, vendors, and facilities needs
Support internal reporting, data entry, and document preparation
Assist leadership with ad hoc projects and operational tasks
Help improve and maintain administrative and payroll processes
Qualifications
Associate or Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of payroll processing experience preferred
Experience with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, UKG, or similar)
Strong understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Strong communication and problem-solving skills

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Berlin, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
