SUMMARY

Apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Post invoice payments and prepare weekly Accounts Receivable Aging.

Reconcile Billings in Excess of Cost, Cost in Excess of Billings, and Work in Process.

Prepare and distribute Daily Cash Requirements Report.

Prepare customer invoices and Progress Billings.

Post invoice payments and prepare weekly Accounts Receivable Aging.

Lead weekly payroll process from labor hour reconciliation to direct deposit review and approval.

Maintain payroll deductions such as benefits, garnishments, taxes.

Review payroll tax forms and submit to the appropriate agency.

Reconcile payroll to Job Cost sub-ledger to General Ledger.

Assist Controller in reconciling GL Accounts.

Employee Benefits - medical, 401k Life, ADD.

Assist with implementation of the ERP system upgrades/enhancements.

Review and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll tax returns, such as 940's, 941's, W2's.

Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.

Ensure activities are conducted in accordance with Atec International Standards Organization (AS9100/ISO) policies and correct and report any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise Accounting personnel in absence of Supervisor.

Banking authority regarding paychecks and pay related circumstances.

401K administrator of company employees.

Monitor personnel to ensure activities are conducted in accordance with Atec ISO policies, and correct and report any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor.

AS9100/ISO SPECIFIC DUTIES

Be familiar with and understand Atec Quality Policy and company objectives.

Understand required AS9100/ISO specific Procedures and Work Instructions.

Complete all records required by Procedures and Work Instructions.

Participate in Atec Continuous Improvement activities as appropriate (including Strategic Planning, AIM, Suggestion box, etc.).

Participate in AS9100/ISO training as required.

Cooperate with Auditors.

Report any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or Ten or more years related experience and/or training; or combination of education and experience.

Employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Extended work hours and/or travel may occasionally be required
