Accounts Payable Lead

Randstad is seeking a talent-driven accounting professional to step into a dynamic, fast-growing corporate office in Las Vegas. We are seeking a highly organized Accounts Payable Lead to oversee daily operations and drive accountability. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive AP knowledge and the ability to effectively delegate tasks. A key component of this role involves serving as a primary resource and liaison for an outsourced team.

The perfect fit will be an analytical, systems-fluent leader who can comfortably review workflows, validate financial reporting, and maintain strict internal controls.

salary: $31.25 - $33.65 per hour

Responsibilities

• General Ledger & Month-End Close: Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations; maintain comprehensive supporting documentation for audit readiness.
  
  
• Financial Analysis: Review and analyze P&L and Balance Sheet accounts to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal financial policies.
  
  
• Transactional Oversight: Review and approve high-volume Accounts Payable invoices, verify cost accounting data, and process recurring monthly billing.
  
  
• Cash & Banking Operations: Manage day-to-day banking functions, including ACH processing, wire transfers, cash posting, and daily bank reconciliations.
  
  
• Discrepancy Resolution: Partner with customers and vendors to investigate and resolve account discrepancies and monitor outstanding balances.
  
  
• Compliance & Controls: Apply independent judgment to maintain strict internal controls (SOX) and compile necessary reports for management and regulatory agencies.
  
  
• Specialized Calculations: Administer corporate travel and expense reimbursements and calculate complex, contract-based commission structures.
