As a Enrolled Agent with us, you will be responsible for managing the entire tax return process from start to finish. Youll work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, corporations, partnerships, fiduciaries, and non-profit organizations. Your ability to handle complex financial situations and bring them all the way to a completed tax return is crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, fiduciaries, nonprofits, and other entities
- Review client documents, financial records, income statements, and supporting tax documentation
- Utilize accounting software, including Lacerte and QuickBooks, to accurately complete and submit tax returns.
- Communicate with the IRS and Franchise Tax Board to assist with installment agreements, offers in compromise, penalty abatements, currently not collectible status, and other tax resolution matters
Qualifications:
- Enrolled Agent in good standing
- 3+ years of experience with various tax entities, including Individual, Corporate, Partnerships, Fiduciary, and Non-profits.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Tax resolution or tax representation experience strongly preferred
- Strong technical proficiency in accounting and tax preparation software; particularly Lacerte, Pro Connect and QuickBooks (Desktop/Online)
