This role provides support to the accounts payable department. Performing administrative work along with processing day-to-day invoices; ensuring documentation is complete, accurate and payments are timely while adhering to AP policies and procedures.

This position is full-time, hourly.
Responsibilities- Sort, process and distribute mail, validate and prepare invoices for scanning, while indexing all required transaction data and
- Monitor and categorize email for other staff to address
- Perform high volume invoice entry, including 2 and 3 -way PO matching, transferring e-invoice successfully in accordance with departmental volume and accuracy standards
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and escalate as needed to ensure timeliness of payments
- Assisting with projects within the department
- Backup to other staff and other duties as assigned
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 6 months of practical experience in an office environment or 1 year of business training.
- Able to effectively prioritize, work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Must be positive, have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
- Routinely handle highly confidential information is a discreet, professional manner
- Detail oriented with strong problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach to identifying issues and recommend improvements
- Maintain and apply accounts payable best practices on policies and procedures
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree
- Financials suite of PeopleSoft applications highly desirable
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Workday, Oracle)
The hourly pay range for this position is from $22.22 to $31.63 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
