Revenue and Accounts Receivable Specialist

About the Opportunity

• Manage billing, revenue, and accounts receivable activities for an assigned customer portfolio
• Review finalized sales agreements for accuracy and ensure proper setup for invoicing and revenue recognition
• Validate and issue customer invoices, ensuring alignment with contracts and purchase documentation
• Monitor recorded revenue for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Apply payments, credits, and refunds; maintain accurate customer account balances
• Support customer requests related to billing adjustments, credits, contract changes, and cancellations
• Partner cross-functionally (sales, support, operations) to resolve billing and account matters
• Track receivables performance and provide reporting on aging, collections, and revenue metrics
• Perform month-end AR tasks including reconciliations, ledger reviews, and collectability assessments
• Prepare manual invoices or journal entries as needed
• Maintain organized financial records and ensure data accuracy across systems
• Support process improvements and assist junior team members when required

About You

• Post-secondary education in business, accounting, or related field
• Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach
• High attention to detail and accountability for accuracy
• Advanced spreadsheet skills (lookups, conditional formulas, etc.)
• Comfortable with common business systems and collaboration tools
• Strong time management and ability to handle multiple priorities
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Interest in professional growth within accounting/finance; designation progress is an asset
• Experience with CRM, ERP, or billing systems is an asset

Salary Range
$55,000 - $60,000 /year
