ABOUT OUR CLIENT / ABOUT THIS ROLE

Medix is currently seeking a Payroll Administrator for a 1-year contract with one of our best Healthcare clients in Southwestern Ohio! This role will be supporting the day to day payroll operations for a 13,000+ employee organization, as they focus on implementing a new ERP Platform. This individual will be focused on executing payroll, supporting time and attendance close, payroll close, corrections and adjustments, all navigating within the UKGPro system

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as an internal point of contact to answer day-to-day employee payroll queries.
  • Process payroll corrections and adjustments for employees who were paid inaccurately.
  • Review and approve employee direct deposit updates and W-4 forms.
  • Take ownership of specific segments of the payroll execution, including time and attendance close or payroll close procedures.
  • Successfully navigating the corporate payroll systems - UKGPro / UKG WFM

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Candidates must be local to the Dayton Metro Area, and willing to work onsite
  • Must have 3+ years of Payroll Operations experience
  • Must have experience with high-volume payroll (5000+ employees)
  • Experience using enterprise Payroll platforms like UKGPro / UKG WFM preferred
  • Strong analytical troubleshooting skills
