Billing Specialist

Are you an experienced billing professional with a deep understanding of the construction industry? We are looking for a talented Construction Billing Specialist to take on a three-month contract role. Located on the vibrant east side of San Antonio, this position offers an excellent opportunity to bring your expertise to active projects and make an immediate impact.

salary: $22 - $25 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit progress billings, applications for payment, and schedules of values according to specific contract terms.
  
  
• Manage the collection, verification, and tracking of lien waivers from subcontractors and suppliers to minimize financial risk.
  
  
• Review and reconcile subcontractor invoices against purchase orders and work orders to confirm accurate job costing.
  
  
• Monitor accounts receivables and communicate with project managers and clients to resolve billing discrepancies and facilitate timely payments.
  
  
• Compile and organize closeout documentation, including final retention releases and statutory declarations, for project completion.
