Job Title: Senior Accountant (Temp-to-Hire)

Location: Vernon, CA (Onsite)

Compensation: $40.00-$45.00 per hour

A growing apparel company based in Vernon is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced, collaborative environment with strong leadership and continued growth. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in supporting the month-end close, maintaining the general ledger, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This individual should be detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform full-cycle month-end close activities

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts

  • Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations

  • Analyze financial statements and variances

  • Support financial reporting and internal management reporting

  • Assist with inventory accounting and cost analysis (preferred)

  • Partner with cross-functional teams including operations and AP/AR

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

  • Assist with audit preparation and requests

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

  • 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably within manufacturing or apparel

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP

  • Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or similar preferred)

  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups)

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities

Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
