Lead Finance for a Premier Destination Resort

Horseshoe Bay Resort is seeking a strategic, hands-on Controller to lead financial operations for one of Texas' most dynamic, multi-revenue luxury resorts. This is not a back-office role-you'll be a key business partner influencing performance across rooms, F&B, golf, marina, spa, and more.

What You'll Do

\n

• Lead all accounting operations: GL, AP/AR, payroll, income audit, and purchasing\n
• Deliver accurate, timely financial reporting and a clean month-end close\n
• Partner with department leaders to drive profitability and performance\n
• Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis\n
• Ensure strong internal controls and regulatory compliance\n
• Oversee audits, cash flow, and multi-entity financial activity\n
• Build and develop a high-performing accounting team\n
• Drive process improvements across systems and workflows\n

What We're Looking For

\n

• 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including leadership\n
• Strong hospitality or resort financial expertise (multi-revenue environments required)\n
• Deep knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls\n
• Proven ability to influence operations and partner across departments\n
• Hands-on leadership style with strong communication skills\n

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field\n
• Experience with hospitality systems (M3, Opera, etc.)\n

Compensation & Benefits

• $105,000 - $125,000 base salary\n
