Director of Accounting

They are currently looking for a Director of Accounting who will oversees all financial accounting operations. This leader ensures regulatory compliance and drives financial reporting accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes
• Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to US GAAP and healthcare-specific regulations
• Internal Controls: Maintain robust internal controls and safeguard company assets
• Audit Management: Act as the primary liaison for external auditors
• Team Leadership: Mentor, manage, and develop the corporate accounting team
• Process Improvement: Optimize accounting systems to scale financial operations* Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Certification: Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
• Industry Experience: 5+ years of experience in healthcare accounting operations
• Leadership: 4+ years of experience in a people-management role
• Public Accounting: Prior experience working at a Big 4 accounting firm

• Systems: Advanced proficiency with enterprise ERP systems (e.g., Netsuite)
• Regulations: Deep knowledge SOPs and audit readiness
• Communication: Ability to present complex financial data to non-finance executives
