Job Summary
We are seeking an entry-level Accounts Receivable Representative for a Temp-To-Hire opportunity in La Palma, CA. This role is a strong fit for a detail-oriented professional with customer service experience and exposure to accounts receivable who is looking to build a career in accounting, finance, collections, or customer account management.
As an Accounts Receivable Representative, you will support dealer accounts, process payments, research billing discrepancies, assist with past-due balances, and help resolve account concerns. This position offers hands-on experience in accounts receivable operations, payment processing, collections follow-up, account reconciliation, and cross-functional communication.

Key Responsibilities
- Contact dealers regarding past-due accounts, account issues, payment status, and required follow-up.
- Process customer payments, wires, ACH transactions, and checks accurately and in a timely manner.
- Research account discrepancies, resolve billing questions, and provide invoices, credits, rebates, and account updates.
- Maintain accurate account documentation, records, notes, and payment activity in internal systems.
- Support collections efforts by following up on delinquent accounts and escalating issues when needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams and prepare weekly past-due account updates for leadership.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Customer service experience and accounts receivable exposure required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and accurate data entry abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced business environment.
- Professional approach to customer interactions, payment discussions, and account resolutions.
- Experience with collections processes.
- Experience using ERP systems.
- Experience with Genesys Cloud or similar customer communication platforms.
