Position Summary
The Senior Accountant Fixed Assets is responsible for supporting the preparation of financial statements, maintaining fixed asset accounting processes, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This role plays a key part in strengthening internal controls, supporting audits, and driving continuous improvement across accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Record and validate journal entries related to fixed assets and general ledger activity.
Maintain and reconcile fixed asset subledgers and related financial systems.
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
Partner with internal stakeholders across finance, operations, and corporate teams.
Participate in internal and external audits, providing documentation and analysis.
Drive process improvements and automation within accounting workflows.
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
Support special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as needed.
Qualifications (Required)
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business (Accounting concentration preferred)
Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools
Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
CPA or CPA-eligible strongly preferred
Experience in fixed assets accounting
