Accounting Manager

Term: Permanent Schedule: Full-time Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm Pay: $40+/hour DOE What You Will Do: Manage and oversee the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance activities. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP. Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial planning activities to support organizational goals. Maintain and improve internal accounting controls, financial processes, and reporting accuracy. Analyze financial data and provide timely reporting and recommendations to executive leadership and stakeholders. Coordinate with auditors, financial institutions, consultants, and external service providers regarding accounting and compliance matters. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. Collaborate with leadership and operational teams to support strategic and business decision-making. Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic business environment while maintaining attention to detail. What You Will Bring: Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial accounting principles Thorough understanding of internal accounting controls and accounting procedures Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel Experience preparing monthly financial statements and ensuring U.S. GAAP financial reporting compliance Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning skills Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with executive leadership, financial partners, and stakeholders What You Will Gain: Hybrid work offered for Helena employees!
