Collections Specialist

Kforce client is seeking a Collections Specialist in Manhattan Beach, CA. This position is onsite Monday - Friday.

Duties:

• Manage delinquent consumer loan and credit card accounts, including deficiency balance, bankruptcies, and charged -off accounts
• Conduct extensive skip tracing of debtors and collateral, evaluate risk, and determine appropriate resolution strategies
• Recommend and coordinate field chases, repossessions, legal actions, and charge-offs
• Manage high volume inbound and outbound calls using power dialer
• Generate Credit Bureau reports
• Exhaust all available recovery options when resolving delinquent account
• Protect assets by reducing delinquency and preventing financial loss
• Utilize computer systems to accurately enter, update and retrieve account information
• Deliver high quality customer service, including resolving account disputes, correcting misapplied payments, and processing payment modifications, note modifications, references and loan or credit card consolidations* 1-3 years of loan adjustment experience
• Collections experience - banking Industry, knowledge of applicable laws and regulations pertaining to collections and handling of delinquent accounts
• Computer skills - Microsoft word, Excel Programs, Data Entry
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments
• Skip tracing experience
• Ability to handle High call volume
