Serve as Accounting Key User by identifying and resolving complex financial issues. Prepare and submit financial reports to headquarters in our dedicated consolidated reporting system (including Sales, P&L, Intra-division Reconciliation, Balance Sheet, Annexes, Shareholders, and IFRS18 reporting), as well as to local management. Oversee and perform all balance sheet account reconciliations in compliance with both US GAAP and IFRS; organize monthly review meetings with management. Act as primary liaison to the Shared Service Center (SSC) to support and resolve ERP issues related to accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), goods received, payment, and vendor reconciliations. Record payroll and benefits entries; perform related monthly reconciliations. Provide financial guidance and recommendations to management, customers, and employees. Act as the focal point for external and internal financial audits; implement action plans as required to achieve and maintain compliance with group and regulatory standards. Assist with tax template preparation and analysis for Safran US on a quarterly or annual basis; review and analyze monthly sales tax compliance. Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, organizational policies, and professional accounting standards. Perform month-end closing activities, review, and approve all postings in a timely and controlled manner. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team (2HC); enhance team knowledge, capability, and accountability. Conduct quarterly capital expenditures (CAPEX) reviews with senior leadership to track project progress against budget and status of "assets under construction." Prepare, calculate, and review actual cash and estimated monthly forecasts. Adheres to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of health, safety, and environmental program and culture

Education and/or Experience Requires a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Accounting or Finance and 5+ years of experience in accounting. Prefers 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge/Skills Ability to work with other team members to achieve desired results - Expert Requires proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Power BI) - Expert Must possess the ability to run and analyze Accounting reports and data Expert Knowledge of ERP system required (SAP preferred) - Advanced Organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines - Expert Ability to coordinate and direct work activities across finance functions - Advanced Work status Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
