Key Responsibilities
- Oversee financial activity across a portfolio of clients, ensuring all transactions are recorded and maintained accurately
- Review and approve vendor invoices, expense reports, and disbursements to ensure compliance with client expectations
- Coordinate recurring and off-cycle payment processes, including compensation distribution and related reconciliations
- Monitor client cash flow, track account balances, and facilitate timely transfers between accounts as needed
- Partner directly with client representatives to address financial questions, provide updates, and resolve issues
- Prepare and review account reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and ensuring timely resolution
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records across multiple systems and platforms
- Collaborate with internal leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting initiatives
- Manage competing priorities across multiple clients while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and scalability within the accounting function
- Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects based on client needs
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- 2+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or client-facing financial operations
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial workflows
- Experience supporting multiple clients or business entities simultaneously is preferred
- Background in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment is highly preferred
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems
- Experience with cloud-based accounting platforms is a plus
- Strong Excel skills, including data organization and reconciliation support
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines effectively
- Professional communication skills with a focus on client service
- Adaptability in dynamic, fast-changing environments
- Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
