I. Job Summary

Manages employees and activities of the Accounts Receivable department.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plans, coordinates and supervises the collection, analysis and consolidation of accounts receivable data and the preparation of scheduled reports.
  • Coordinates and reconciles cash and credit card receipts and ensures proper credits are received.
  • Plans, schedules and assigns work activities involving sales data collection, credit card investigation, account collection activity, accounts receivable and bank reconciliation functions.
  • Monitors employee activities, assists with problems, and takes action as necessary to ensure work quality standards and planned schedules are maintained.
  • Interacts with customers as necessary to resolve account problems.
  • Prepares closing entries and detailed scheduled reports of sales activity and other financial matters.
  • Reviews and reconciles assigned accounts on a monthly basis, checks and resolves account discrepancies.
  • Performs various activities to backup and maintain the flow of work in the department.
  • Oversees personnel needs of the department including selecting, coaching, disciplining, and training employees and evaluating employee performance. Provides input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions.
  • Assists in the preparation of statements and month end closing.
  • Analyzes cash from sales data to ensure accounts are credited properly and prepares daily report.

III. Qualifications - Must live and work in the U.S.

A. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent years of experience
  • High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four years of relevant experience
  • 4 years of previous experience

Pay: The expected base pay range for this hybrid position is $91,000 - $101,000. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
