MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

A high school diploma or its equivalent and three (3) years of professional or nonprofessional accounting experience; or

A bachelor's degree (4 years) from an accredited college or university with a major in accounting, finance or business administration.

JOB DUTIES :

Prints the Journal Transfers (JT) report daily and reviews the report for JT received from other state agencies. Records the JT within 3 days of receipt.

Responsible for printing the debit memo report from PALM daily and recording the debit memos in Departmental FLAIR to reconcile to Central FLAIR.

Responsible for recording remote deposits made by all the division throughout the state.

Records the receipt of funds for the Forestry perquisites every two weeks.

Responsible for the establishment of accounts receivables in FLAIR for invoices from the various divisions and the customer number associated with receivables.

Assists in the opening and organizing of the daily mail. Helps scan and send out checks that require additional documentation to the divisions.

Prepares return letters for checks that are being sent back to customers.

Responsible for printing and distributing treasury receipts.

Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
