Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $90,000 to $100,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage full cycle fund accounting activities, including maintaining general ledger records and preparing financial statements.
Complete account reconciliations and review balance sheet and income statement activity for accuracy.
Record journal entries related to fees, intercompany transactions, financing activity, and accruals.
Support audit and tax processes by preparing schedules and assisting with required documentation.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support reporting and investor communication.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
2+ years of accounting experience, preferably within real estate or investment environments.
A strong understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting practices.
Previous experience working with accounting software and spreadsheet tools.
Ability to manage deadlines and handle multiple assignments effectively.
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate financial records.
Ability to analyze and interpret financial information and explain results clearly.
Effective communication skills for working with internal teams and external partners.
Organized and proactive work style with strong time management skills.
Prior experience supporting audits, investor reporting, and fund level accounting.
