Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Tax Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $110,000 to $180,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead and review tax engagements to ensure accurate preparation and timely completion of client deliverables.
Supervise and mentor junior team members by providing feedback, guidance, and performance support.
Manage client relationships by serving as a primary contact and addressing tax related inquiries.
Identify opportunities to expand services and support business development efforts.
Assist with internal initiatives, process improvements, and administrative responsibilities as needed.
Requirements:
Active certified public accountant credential is required.
5+ years of experience within public accounting or tax related environments.
Prior experience at a senior level with exposure to engagement management responsibilities.
Strong understanding of tax regulations and accounting practices.
Ability to manage multiple client engagements and meet deadlines effectively.
Qualifications:
Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise and develop team members.
Strong communication skills for working with clients and internal stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex tax matters.
Organized and detail focused approach with strong time management skills.
Business minded perspective with interest in client growth and relationship building.
