RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Specific Competencies:
Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and other financial records on a regular basis.
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Maintain accurate records of financial data and ensure all documentation is properly filed and accessible.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts as needed.
Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable to ensure timely collection.
Support the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries from auditors.
Stay current on accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High school diploma.
Associates in accounting preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year experience in an Accounting or related role.

N/A

Work independently
Multitask efficiently.
High attention to details, ability to take directions, self-check and follow up on work.
Able to enter accurate financial /numerical data.
Analytical and critical problem-solving skills
Basic knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel, Sage, or other accounting software
Basic to intermediate computer and typing skills.
Ability to apply discretion and be trusted with confidential company information.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This is a full-time position in a medical office environment. Requires working occasional evening and weekend hours. Occasional stress due to high work volume, deadlines, and multiple assignments.
