A growing organization is seeking a hands-on Accounts Receivable leader to stabilize and optimize its receivables function. This role will focus on improving cash flow, addressing aged balances, and building structure within a high-volume, evolving environment. This position requires someone who is comfortable operating in ambiguity, can drive process improvements, and is confident presenting insights and recommendations to senior leadership. Key Responsibilities Take ownership of the full receivables lifecycle, including billing oversight, cash application visibility, and collection strategy execution Assess current AR processes and implement structure to improve efficiency, accuracy, and accountability Lead initiatives to reduce aged receivables, resolve outstanding balances, and address discrepancies across customer accounts Analyze trends in customer payments, disputes, and deductions to identify root causes and drive corrective action Develop reporting and dashboards to provide leadership with visibility into AR performance, cash flow, and risk exposure Partner cross-functionally with sales, operations, and finance to resolve billing issues and improve customer payment behavior Manage and prioritize collection efforts, including escalation of high-risk accounts Provide recommendations around cash flow strategies, including alternative approaches to accelerate collections Present findings, trends, and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and actionable manner Support internal controls and ensure alignment with accounting and audit requirements What We're Looking For 5+ years of progressive experience across accounts receivable, billing, and commercial collections Proven ability to improve AR aging and drive measurable cash flow improvements Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and influence decision-making Experience working in high-volume or complex environments with evolving processes Advanced Excel skills and experience working within ERP systems Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with leadership and external partners Experience with receivables financing strategies (e.g., invoice factoring) is a plus Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus Why This Role High-impact position with visibility to leadership Opportunity to build structure and improve processes Fast-paced environment with opportunity to drive real change Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $11,000.00 per year Search managed by: Blanca Gomez Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Military connected talent encouraged to apply To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable: The California Fair Chance Act Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance Massachusetts Candidates Only: It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.
