Bilingual Bookkeeper Are you a detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in a mission-driven environment? Our client is seeking a Bilingual Bookkeeper to oversee daily financial operations and ensure the integrity of their general ledger. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage international transactions and lead a small, dedicated team. Position Overview Duration: Temp-to-Hire Location: On-site Addison Compensation: $33.65 / hr Language Requirement: Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) Financial Operations & General Ledger Maintain general ledger integrity through precise journal entries. Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and facilitate wire/ACH donations. Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and prepare audit schedules. Revenue & Compliance Process income from various sources, including PayPal and donor-advised funds. Review income adjustments and ensure accurate tax receipts and 1099 reporting. Manage and monitor brokerage accounts. International Coordination & Leadership Execute and oversee fund transfers to Guatemala . Manage staff credit card accounts and reconciliations. Supervise and mentor the Accounting Assistant to ensure departmental efficiency. Qualifications Language: Must be fully bilingual (English/Spanish) to effectively manage international transfers and communications. Experience: Proven background in bookkeeping or accounting, ideally within a non-profit or donor-driven environment. Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and Excel; experience with international wire transfers is a significant plus. Leadership: Ability to supervise support staff and manage multiple competing priorities with accuracy.
