Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking an accurate, detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage incoming payments. Ensure the company receives payments for goods and services smoothly and on time. Main focus will be managing financial records, resolving billing discrepancies, and securing revenue. Key Responsibilities Invoicing: Generate, verify, and send accurate invoices and monthly statements to clients. Payment Application: Process and post daily incoming cash, checks, ACH, and wire transfers. Collections: Monitor aging reports and contact customers regarding overdue balances via phone or email. Dispute Resolution: Investigate customer billing inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies quickly and professionally. Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers to ensure all payments are accounted for properly. Reporting: Prepare weekly cash flow summaries and monthly accounts receivable status reports. Teamwork: Support the accounting team during month-end closing activities. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience: [4] years of experience working in Accounts Receivable or general accounting. Education: High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. Software: Proven proficiency with accounting platforms (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and Microsoft Excel. Math Skills: High level of accuracy with numbers and strong data entry speed. Communication: Excellent negotiation and communication skills for professional, polite collections.
