Under the close supervision of the Accounting Administrator I (Superivsor), the Accountant Trainee, as a learner, performs professional accounting work in the establishment, maintenance, research, and analysis of accounts and financial records for the Daily Revenue Section. Learns accounting process and accounting system. Constant contacts are made with field offices, the Budget Section, Cashiers Section, the State Controller's Office (SCO), the State Treasurer's Office (STO), the California State Auditor (CSA), and various State Departments.
