Temporary Accounts Payable
LHH Recruitment is partnering with a well-established environmental services company in North Scottsdale, is seeking a Temporary Accounts Payable Specialist to provide coverage during an employee medical leave. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced AP professional who can quickly step into a fast-paced environment and make an immediate impact. This role is fully onsite, Monday-Friday. The hourly range is between $28/hr-$31/hr.
NetSuite experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
- Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, invoices, and receipts
- Review invoices for proper coding and approvals
- Manage vendor inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies
- Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers
- Reconcile vendor statements and investigate outstanding items
- Maintain accurate accounts payable records and documentation
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to AP
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice and payment issues
- Support special projects and other accounting functions as needed
Qualifications
- 3+ years of recent Accounts Payable experience
- Required: Hands-on experience using NetSuite
- Experience processing high-volume invoices
- Strong understanding of AP processes and accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
