Auto Loan Collections Representative

Role Overview We're hiring a Collections Specialist to support auto loan accounts in a highvolume customer service environment. This role focuses on helping customers stay on track with payments while following clear policies and processes. You'll work closely with a small team and use internal systems to manage accounts accurately. What You'll Be Doing Handle inbound and outbound calls related to auto loan accounts Work with customers to set up payment plans and resolve delinquencies Follow guidelines for skip tracing to locate hardtoreach customers Keep detailed, accurate notes in CRM systems Apply company policies and compliance standards consistently Manage time across multiple accounts and priorities Pay, Schedule & Logistics Pay: $21-$24/hr + overtime (1.5x) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Overtime and occasional Saturdays may be required Hybrid schedule: 2 days onsite weekly in Foothill Ranch, CA 6month contract with potential to convert to a permanent role Requirements MustHave 1-3 years of collections experience (auto finance preferred) Strong communication and negotiation skills Experience handling inbound and outbound calls Familiarity with CRM or account management systems Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized Working knowledge of collections guidelines and regulations High school diploma or equivalent Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States NicetoHave Auto loan collections experience Bilingual Spanish Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake Forest, California 92610. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
