Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Gardena, CA (Corporate Office - Fully On-Site)

Pay: $27-$29/hour

Type: Temp-to-Hire

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM

Our client is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a fast-paced, growing organization. This role involves handling high-volume AP transactions and supporting automation initiatives. Top 3 Must-Haves

• Ability to process 300-500 invoices per week

• Experience with three-way matching and account reconciliations

• Basic Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)

Tools & Systems

• ERP: Legend (retail-focused)

• Basic Excel

Responsibilities

• Full-cycle AP processing, including three-way match and vendor communication

• Monitor exceptions queue for automated invoices and manually process non-automated invoices

• Perform statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

• Collaborate with retail stores and vendors

• Support transition to PO/non-PO specialization in the future

Qualifications

• Degree not required

• Comfortable in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Interview Process

• First Round: Zoom or Teams with AP Lead and Supervisor

• Second Round: On-site with Hiring Manager

• Availability: Wednesday-Friday preferred
