What you'll be doing:
Process grain accounting transactionsInterpret documents from customers (invoices, statements, checks, etc.)Perform accounting and clerical functions to support supervisorsExecute timely advances, payments and invoices in grain accounting softwareIdentify and resolve issues that may be found in your day-to-day processingMaintain status of easily accessible reports, files and records.
Provide great customer service by working directly with producers regarding settlements, payments, and account questions
Assist in the purchase of farm products/commodities such as - but not limited to - wheat, corn, sorghum, and/or soybeansWork on special projects under direct supervision and other miscellaneous tasks as assigned
Requirements to be successful in this position:
High school diploma, GED, or related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience with grain accounting is preferred.Proficiency in mathExperience with Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel.Great interpersonal skills and meticulous attention to detail
