Payroll Manager Location: Elkhart, IN (onsite) About the Opportunity for a Payroll Manager: Join a stable and growing organization where compliance, accuracy, and process improvement are valued. This is a strategic payroll leadership role focused on oversight not daily payroll processing. Partner closely with HR and Finance to ensure payroll tax compliance, garnishment accuracy, and regulatory alignment. Overview of the Payroll Manager role: Oversee payroll tax filings, compliance, and reporting to ensure federal, state, and local accuracy. Review and audit garnishments, levies, and deductions to ensure proper calculation and remittance. Monitor payroll processes, controls, and system accuracy; identify and implement improvements. Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws, multi-state payroll regulations, and internal policies. Partner with HR and Finance on audits, reporting, and year-end activities (W-2s, tax reconciliations, etc.). Serve as the subject matter expert for payroll compliance and regulatory updates. Preferred Qualifications for the Payroll Manager role: 5+ years of progressive payroll experience, including payroll tax and garnishment oversight.
