Senior Accountant (Hybrid - Denver, CO)
A growing, global technology organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to support international accounting operations, statutory reporting, and month-end close activities across multiple entities. This role will partner closely with accounting leadership, external auditors, tax, treasury, and operational teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance in a fast-paced environment.
This is a hybrid position based in Denver, Colorado.
Responsibilities
International Accounting & Compliance
Support the preparation and filing of statutory financial statements across multiple international jurisdictions
Coordinate with external accounting firms and auditors on local compliance and reporting requirements
Assist with annual statutory audits and ensure timely completion
Monitor local accounting regulation changes and support ongoing compliance efforts
Maintain reporting calendars and ensure deadlines are met
Support reconciliation efforts between US GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAP reporting requirements
Serve as a key point of contact for international accounting matters
Month-End Close & Operational Accounting
Support month-end close activities for international entities and payroll accounting
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
Assist with integration of newly acquired entities into accounting processes and reporting structures
Partner cross-functionally to improve processes, controls, and reporting accuracy
Mentor and support junior accounting team members
Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA or equivalent certification preferred
5+ years of progressive accounting experience
Experience with multinational accounting and statutory reporting
Strong understanding of US GAAP; IFRS exposure preferred
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems
Combination of public accounting and industry experience
Experience working with outsourced providers or shared service environments
Self-starter mentality with strong ownership and problem-solving skills
Compensation
Salary Range: $125,000 - $135,000 annually
