Payroll Specialist

Payroll Specialist Location: Allegan, MI Schedule: Full-Time | Hybrid Compensation: $50,000 $60,000 Position Summary The Payroll Specialist is responsible for accurate and timely payroll processing for U.S.-based employees on weekly and semi-monthly schedules. This role manages payroll analysis, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance while serving as a key point of contact for employee payroll questions and supporting audits and financial reporting. Payroll Specialist Key Responsibilities Process weekly and semi-monthly payroll for all U.S. employees, including off-cycle payments and special earnings Coordinate payroll activities with ADP, pay card vendors, and Treasury Process special payments such as bonuses, stock, relocation, expat, and withholding orders Research and resolve payroll discrepancies, employee inquiries, and paycheck issues Reconcile payroll and benefits-related general ledger accounts and prepare adjustment entries Review, balance, and coordinate W-2 reporting and distribution; research and resolve tax reporting issues Prepare payroll documentation and reports for internal and external audits Produce periodic financial, operational, and statistical payroll reports as requested Payroll Specialist Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; 2+ years of payroll experience Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations (local, state, and federal) Experience reconciling payroll general ledger accounts and correcting journal entry errors Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to handle confidential information Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ADP required Experience with SAP, Workforce Software, or similar payroll/HR systems preferred Payroll Specialist Payroll Specialist Payroll Specialist Payroll Specialist Payroll Specialist Payroll Specialist #INJUN2026 #INMAY2026 EB-...
