This position is loced in the Office of Community Planning and Development (CPD). CPD seeks to develop viable communities by promoting integred approaches th provide decent housing, a suitable living environment, and expand economic opportunities for low and modere-income persons. The primary means toward this end is the development of partnerships among all levels of government and the prive sector, including for-profit and non-profit organizions.
As a Regional Senior Financial Analyst , you will:
Serve as an expert-level resource on their Regional Management Team on mters reling to financial management issues.
Identify 'Best Practices' among grantees and serve as a calyst to export those 'Best Practices' whenever/wherever it is possible to do so.
Develop regional and nionwide technical assistance stregies, work plans, and performance measures used in providing technical assistance services.
Maintain financial stus records and be well versed in all aspects of financial management systems grantees use to receive HUD funds and report their utilizion, including IDIS, DRGR and LOCCS.
Responsible for the analyses of financial reports, periodic stements and balance sheets from local entities receiving HUD assistance.

Qualificions
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing de of this announcement.
Specialized Experience : Specialized Experience for the GS-14 , you must have one year (full 52 weeks) of specialized experience a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as:
Providing comprehensive financial management experience with community development programs; AND
Ensuring financial accountability and compliance with federal rules, regulions, laws and policies; AND
Using financial systems and technology in conducting financial monitoring of grantee activities and audit resolutions, securities markets, investments, and banking; AND
Conducting and reporting of indirect cost plans or cost allocion plans.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, prive sector or volunteer service . One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prored basis. As a Regional Senior Financial Analyst , you will:
Serve as an expert-level resource on their Regional Management Team on mters reling to financial management issues.
Identify 'Best Practices' among grantees and serve as a calyst to export those 'Best Practices' whenever/wherever it is possible to do so.
Develop regional and nionwide technical assistance stregies, work plans, and performance measures used in providing technical assistance services.
Maintain financial stus records and be well versed in all aspects of financial management systems grantees use to receive HUD funds and report their utilizion, including IDIS, DRGR and LOCCS.
Responsible for the analyses of financial reports, periodic stements and balance sheets from local entities receiving HUD assistance.

Specialized Experience : Specialized Experience for the GS-14 , you must have one year (full 52 weeks) of specialized experience a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as:
Providing comprehensive financial management experience with community development programs; AND
Ensuring financial accountability and compliance with federal rules, regulions, laws and policies; AND
