Senior Accountant - Finance Operations Location: Hybrid/Remote Candidates should reside in one of the following areas: Floridaeither Jacksonville, Daytona or Orlando ArizonaPhoenix GA/NJEither Macon, GA or the greater NY/NJ area We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support regional financial operations and serve as a key liaison between operations leadership and corporate finance. This role will play a critical part in financial reporting, operational analysis, budgeting support, and cross-functional business partnership across assigned regions. The ideal candidate brings a strong accounting foundation along with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, operationally focused environment. Responsibilities Support monthly close processes, account reconciliations, and financial reporting activities Partner with regional operational leaders to analyze financial performance and operational trends Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Prepare and maintain financial models, reports, and KPI dashboards Help improve financial processes, reporting accuracy, and internal controls Collaborate with accounting, FP&A, and operations teams on strategic initiatives Serve as a finance point of contact for assigned regions/business units Support ad hoc financial analysis and leadership reporting requests Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 4-7+ years of accounting, finance, or FP&A experience Public accounting experience preferred (Big 4/Big 8 strongly preferred) Experience with public or private equity-backed companies preferred Healthcare industry experience preferred Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills ERP experience preferred; NetSuite experience is a plus Advanced Excel skills required CPA or CPA-track candidates encouraged to apply Preferred Candidate Profile Strong accounting fundamentals with operational mindset Comfortable working cross-functionally with finance and operations teams Able to balance detail orientation with strategic thinking Thrives in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment
