We are as committed to and passionate about your success as we are about the companies that we represent.Job DescriptionThis role is with a well-established, stable and growing firm located in the Walnut Creek area.It will be integral to the accounting of closely held businesses and will be responsible for organizing and managing client assignments, tax returns, financials and related projects.While senior accounting roles are also available this role will also be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and directing team members in meeting client, firm and personal development goals and deadlines.QualificationsIs a licensed CPA with 7 or more years of experience with public accounting, audit and taxExperience with the preparation of reviewed and compiled financial statementsExperience managing Compilation, Review or Audit projects Experience with client interaction at CFO and Ownership levels. Professional proficiency with recognized tax, audit and accounting software systems (ideally Engagement or Caseware)Is an excellent verbal and written communicatorDemonstrated success with and interest in mentoring and leading growing teamsHas earned a Bachelor's degree ideally in, or with a focus on, accountingAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
