In this role, you will: Review prior bookkeeping and business tax filings for accuracy Prepare or oversee amended/refiled business tax returns where necessary Maintain ongoing IRS, Colorado, payroll, and business tax compliance Advise ownership on financial strategy, tax minimization, and operational planning Assist with business loans, office expansion, vehicle purchasing decisions, and other finance-related projects Identify available deductions, depreciation strategies, incentives, and tax credits Help improve internal financial organization and reporting processes Scheduling: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Flexible) What we offer: Competitive pay starting at $70,000 per year for first 90 days, and $80,000 per year thereafter Immediate start date for qualified candidates Opportunities for skill development and advancement within the company Requirements: CPA strongly preferred Hands-on experience preparing and filing business taxes for LLCs, S-Corps, or similar entities required Strong understanding of payroll taxes, depreciation, business deductions, and tax strategy required Experience handling amended returns and correcting prior filings required Prior experience working directly with the IRS or state tax authorities required Ability to think strategically beyond simple tax preparation required Strong proficiency with Excel and QuickBooks preferred Ability to work independently and handle sensitive financial matters High attention to detail, discretion, and confidentiality Clean criminal and driving record required Company DescriptionTrailfinder, Inc. is a Colorado Springs-based agency providing professional Process Serving and Private Investigation services.
