Property Accountant

To Apply for this Job Click Here In a Nutshell: Property Accountant is responsible for leading the full-cycle accounting and financial reporting for a property management portfolio regulated by state and local funding sources. This role delivers timely, accurate financial statements, performs variance analysis, and provides performance insights for leadership. This can be a remote role but the contractor will be required to travel to the client's office for a monthly meeting. Duties to include but no limited to: Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations within established deadlines Prepare and review monthly financial statements and supporting schedules, ensuring accuracy and completeness Analyze financial reports, including budget to actual variances, and provide clear explanations Partner closely with cross-functional teams in annual budget preparation Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting 5+ years of accounting experience in property management Experience with Yardi property management software Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Able to work indepently in a remote capacity F1452792-KSP_...
