Staff Accountant

NOW HIRING! Staff Accountant (Temporary) Duration: 2-3 Month Temporary Assignment Pay Rate: $24-$25 per hour Schedule: First 2 weeks: Part-time (approximately 4 hours per day for training) Thereafter: Full-time (40 hours per week) Position Summary The Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting general accounting functions including journal entries, reconciliations, payroll, and accounts receivable activities. This role supports the Accounting Department and reports to the Accounting Manager. Key Responsibilities Support monthend close, including journal entries and reconciliations Prepare and review financial and systemgenerated reports Record payroll expenses and resolve discrepancies with HR Analyze inventory, manufacturing, and cost variances (manufacturing experience a plus) Manage accounts receivable, collections, and customer inquiries Process invoices, cash receipts, banking activity, and reconciliations Perform additional accounting duties as assigned As a RemX Staff Accountant We Offer You: Competitive pay Paid weekly (Direct Deposit or ATM Debit Card available) Access to health benefits and retirement plan A personal recruiter to help with job searches and assistance when at work!
