Financial Analyst We are seeking a Financial Analyst to provide analytical review and financial oversight in support of program directors and agency operations. This role will focus on managing financial requirements, monitoring expenditures, supporting reporting processes, and ensuring compliance with grant and regulatory guidelines. Key Responsibilities Provide financial analysis and support for grant management, including spend tracking, reporting, draws, and rebate activities Partner with program directors to manage budgets, timelines, and financial goals Ensure compliance with federal grant requirements and state financial policies Oversee financial processes related to procurement, accounting, contracting, and revenue collection Support budget controls and evaluate financial impact of operational decisions Execute project setup, budget amendments, grant renewals, and contract submissions Perform financial reporting, reconciliation, and risk management analysis Monitor and ensure accurate posting of financial transactions in the state financial system Assist with audits, sub-recipient monitoring, and federal/state reporting requirements Provide guidance on accounting procedures including general ledger postings, journal corrections, and revenue tracking Required Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting Experience with financial tools and statistical analysis techniques Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliation, and reporting Experience managing grants, budgets, and timelines with financial constraints Ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration Experience working with government agencies Knowledge of state-level financial regulations and compliance standards Certified Financial Manager (CFM) certification (nice to have) Key Skills & Competencies Financial analysis and reporting Budget management and forecasting Grant management and compliance Risk assessment and mitigation Accounting and reconciliation Critical thinking and problem-solving Effective communication and collaboration
