un Remote Quick Books Enterprise Accounting specialist Premier Association Management compensation: $22-$28/hour employment type: experience level: mid level job title: HOA Bookkeeper / Accounting Specialist About the Role Our Homeowner Association Management company is seeking a detail driven HOA Bookkeeper/Accounting Specialist to support the financial operations of the communities we manage. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, understands the unique structure of association accounting, and can provide accurate, timely financial information to both internal teams and HOA boards with minimal oversight. This is a 30-40 hours per week position. This is a work from home position - must live in the Twin City area. Key Responsibilities Maintain financial records for multiple homeowner associations Process and reconcile assessments, fees, and other owner payments Manage accounts payable, including vendor invoices, contracts, and recurring services Reconcile bank accounts, reserve accounts, and credit card statements Prepare monthly financial statements for HOA boards (balance sheet, income statement, variance reports) Assist with annual budget preparation and forecasting Track delinquencies and coordinate with management on collection processes Support annual audits and tax filings with external CPA firms Maintain organized digital records in accordance with association requirements Respond to financial inquiries from managers, board members, and homeowners with professionalism and clarity Qualifications 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience with familiarity in fund accounting or accrual based accounting Proficiency with QuickBooks accounting software Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, OneDrive) Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast paced environment Strong communication skills and a customer service mindset Strong productivity while working remotely Moderate Computer Skillset Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) Experience in the HOA Management Industry Experience preparing budgets for community associations Knowledge of state HOA statutes and financial reporting requirements Understanding of reserve studies and long term capital planning Experience working with board run organizations or volunteer committees What We Offer Competitive salary based on skillset ($22-28/Hr.)
