Accounts Receivable Specialist - Consumer Accounts

The successful candidate will review and audit account information, correct discrepancies, and ensure accounts are properly billed and payments are collected in a timely manner. \n \n In this role you will: \n \nCommunicate with customers via phone and/or email, building positive customer relationships while handling any issue or concerns related to account status or payment information within 24 hours\nCreate recurring invoices for customers to ensure timely payment\nReview system ticket queue and resolve all issues in a timely manner\nHandle cancellation of customer services and maintain accurate account documentation\nAudit financial sales slips\nAudit customer accounts to ensure accurate set up\nConduct account research, analysis, and prepare reporting\nAssist with month end process\nComplete other duties assigned\n\n Why Join Safe Haven? \n \nWeekly pay\nPaid Time Off (PTO) program and paid holidays\nMedical, Dental, Vision, 401k, and Life Insurance Coverage \nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)\nRecognized by Newsweek's "America's Greatest Workplaces"!\nSafe Haven is the largest employee-based ADT Authorized Dealer\n\n To be successful in this role, you should have: \n \nStrong ability to prioritize tasks and demonstrate effective time management\nProficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office\nAbility to calculate and manage accounting figures\nExcellent analytical, detail-oriented, and critical thinking skills\nExceptional written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to adapt to frequent change\nStrong customer service skills with a positive, professional approach\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\n\n What Safe Haven requires in a candidate: \n \n2-year associate degree (Accounting, Finance, or Business-related degree)\n1+ years of relevant experience related to accounts receivable, accounts payable, credit, collections, billing, or general accounting\n1+ years of financial accounting and ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred)\n\n \n Safe Haven Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer / Veterans / Disabled.
