Forsyth Building Company of Anniston seeks an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Bookkeeper to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to oversee all bookkeeping duties in the future. The role involves managing accounts receivable and payable, payroll, bank reconciliations, financial reporting, and insurance audits. This full-time position works Monday through Friday with minimal overtime, providing competitive pay and benefits including BCBS Insurance, a 3% IRA match, and PTO. Responsibilities Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable Process payroll and prepare quarterly and annual payroll reports Perform bank reconciliations and insurance audits Prepare monthly financial statements and reports Utilize Sage and Microsoft Excel for bookkeeping tasks Maintain confidentiality and ensure accuracy in all bookkeeping duties Report to the Accounting Manager Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and payroll software Experience with bank reconciliations and financial reporting Strong attention to detail Ability to maintain confidentiality Preferred Qualifications Associate's Degree in Accounting or related field Company DescriptionGreat Atmosphere, small office environment, steady work.Company DescriptionGreat Atmosphere, small office environment, steady work.
