E-Billing Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions, in partnership with a law firm in Boston, is seeking an experienced E-Billing Manager to join their team.

This position is hybrid.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a team of Billing Specialists
  • Review e-bill submissions
  • Monitor compliance with rate agreements and guidelines
  • Provide reporting for budgets, fee arrangements, and accrual requests
  • Manage client relationships
  • Review monthly reports to identify overdue billing or collections
  • Work with clients and the Collections Department to resolve any payment issues
  • Review time entries based on client and matter requirements
  • Contact new clients to discuss billing procedures and agreements
  • Coordinate with partners regarding client agreements and billing procedures

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field
  • 7+ years of legal billing experience including Elite and Elite 3E
  • Strong technical skills including Word, Excel, and other software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
  • Great problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task

The anticipated salary range for this position is $115,000 - $127,500 per year depending on relevant experience, education, and other job-related factors.
